About
Neil Bosdet is a multi-award winning Realtor with Royal LePage Coast Capital Realty in Victoria and founder of the Bosdet Homes, Handcrafted Real Estate Team. Neil epitomizes integrity, energy and old fashioned hard work. Neil provides an unusual creativity and a handcrafted approach to the service he provides to his clients, while working with his team and in giving back to our community.
Growing up in Victoria, Neil was introduced to real estate at an early age. His grandfather, Arthur Charles Bosdet, was an award-winning home builder with many of his homes still standing around Victoria! Neil’s father, John Davis Bosdet was an appraiser and Realtor, opening his own brokerage JD Bosdet LTD in Victoria in 1972.
Neil became a Realtor in 2012 after encouragement from family and friends. With more than 25 years in professional sales, a cutting edge approach to marketing and a passion for home design and construction, everyone agreed that Real Estate was a perfect fit for Neil. There is a saying that if you work at something you love, you won’t work another day in your life. This is perfect for how Neil embraces his life working with his clients, building his team and in loving Real Estate.
Neil quickly rose to the challenge of becoming a successful Realtor and has become a Royal LePage Diamond Award-winner (top 3 per cent in Sales Achievement with Royal LePage) 2015 and 2016 as well as an MLS Gold Award Winner (top 10 per cent of all agents in the Victoria Real Estate Board) 2015 & 2016. Always wanting to offer his clients the most accurate advice, Neil has a high level of commitment to his continuing education, staying on top of trends and issues and seeks the mentorship of the most highly acclaimed professionals in the industry.
Neil is a family man with a devotion to his beautiful wife Sue and their two sons. Neil and Sue enjoy cooking and entertaining and frequently host guests and clients in their home. An artist by nature, Neil is a talented woodworker, self-proclaimed chef and a passionate and tireless supporter of the Arts in Victoria and Vancouver Island. Neil serves as president of both the Island Artisans Association and the Vancouver Island Woodworkers Guild.
Neil’s woodworking pieces, known as “Funktional Art for the Kitchen” are available in his own gallery, Acres Away Woodworks, in Brentwood Bay, BC and have been featured in the Robert Bateman Centre’s One Tree Exhibit in 2015 and upcoming in the next one in 2017. Neil’s work is also frequently available at the Filberg Festival in Comox, BC, the Island’s largest summer art festival, and at the Out of Hand Holiday Market in Victoria, BC.
Neil values giving back to the community and in such he founded, “The Breakfast Club,” a group of Realtors who sponsor and serve a monthly breakfast for the homeless and less fortunate at Our Place Society in downtown Victoria. Neil is also one of the founders of 100+ Real Estate Agents Who Care Victoria, and through Royal LePage, Bosdet’s team supports the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation by donating time and woodworking pieces to various events and auctions throughout the year
Amongst his peers Neil is viewed as a leader. Whether during a business transaction or community service, Neil’s dependability, knowledge and diligence lends him to be “the guy everyone wants to work with”. Five words you can count on from Neil Bosdet are creativity, integrity, commitment, passion and fun!
